DESCRIPTION

Personalized memorial necklace for the Whippet who was your whole heart. A round stainless steel pendant with your dog's breed silhouette on the front and up to three lines of your own laser-etched engraving on the back. The chain is a delicate Satellite chain, 16 inches with a 2-inch extender, so it wears close and lays flat regardless of neckline. Choose Gold, Rose Gold, or Silver. Made in the USA, hypoallergenic stainless steel.

The back of the pendant carries your engraving. Add the pet's name, dates, a short line like "always in my heart", or your favorite call-name. The laser-etch is deep enough to feel with a fingertip and does not fade the way ink or paint does. Pet parents order these after a loss, but many wear them while their dog is still healthy, a way to keep the current chapter close, not only the last one.

A meaningful gift for grieving pet parents, birthdays, or Mother's Day for the dog moms in your life. Ships in a small burlap gift bag suitable for wrapping. Weight is light enough to wear all day; some pet parents mention removing the extender for a shorter fit that sits at the collarbone. FAQ

What can I engrave on the back?

Up to three lines. Most pet parents add the pet's name, birth and passing dates, or a short phrase like "forever in my heart" or "best girl". You'll enter the text after clicking Add to Cart via the personalization form.

How long does personalization take to ship?

Each necklace is engraved to order at our USA fulfillment center. Shipping usually goes out within 2 business days of ordering, with delivery time on top. If you need it by a specific date, contact us.

What's the chain like?

A delicate Satellite chain, 16 inches long with a 2-inch extender so it can sit at 16, 17, or 18 inches. The clasp is a lobster clasp. Pet parents with wider necklines sometimes remove the extender for a shorter fit.

Will the engraving fade?

No. The engraving is laser-etched into the stainless steel, so it cannot rub off, fade with sunlight, or scratch away like painted or ink-marked jewelry does.

Is it okay for sensitive skin?

The pendant and chain are stainless steel, which many people with mild metal sensitivities wear comfortably. Stainless steel can contain small amounts of nickel, so if you have a known nickel allergy, check with your doctor before wearing it.

My dog isn't a Whippet. Do you carry other breeds?

We carry 77 breeds across this collection. Browse the Pet Memorial Necklaces collection or use the site search to find your dog's breed.

What's the difference between the 3 colors?

Gold and Rose Gold are PVD (physical vapor deposition) coatings applied over stainless steel. Silver is polished stainless steel with no coating. All three are made to hold their finish through everyday wear.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Every necklace ships in a small burlap gift bag suitable for gifting as-is or slipping into a larger wrapped gift box.

Do you ship to Canada?

Yes. Orders to Canada arrive in 2 to 5 business days after shipping, and shipping is free on orders over CAD $50.
