Yes. Each magnet is sculpted with a raised, three-dimensional finish. Your pet's face and paws stand out from the background in real relief, and the nameplate is hand-lettered into the same sculpted surface. Closer to a small carved keepsake than a printed picture.
One good photo is all we need. Upload more if you want and we'll use the clearest, or combine pets if you order a magnet with more than one. Bright, front-facing photos work best, since low-light photos lose the detail the print depends on. Check yours before ordering to make sure it is sharp.
On a fridge, yes. Swallowed, no. Keep magnets above nose height if you have a dog who counter-surfs, the same way you would with anything small and interesting. Magnets are a particular hazard because two swallowed magnets can attract each other through the wall of the intestine and cause serious damage.
Call your vet or an emergency clinic straight away, and say it was a magnet. This is not a wait-and-see situation. If more than one magnet is swallowed they can attract each other through the wall of the intestine, which often needs surgery. Take any remaining pieces with you so the vet can see what is missing.
Not always. Most modern stainless steel fridges have a magnetic outer skin and hold ours fine, but some higher-end brands (including Sub-Zero and some LG models) have a non-magnetic stainless layer that magnets slide off. If your fridge door does not hold ordinary supermarket magnets, ours will not stick either. A metal filing cabinet, oven hood, dishwasher door, or a small magnetic board works just as well.
