What kind of photo works best?

Bright, front-facing photos where your pet's face is clear and well-lit. Photos taken outside in daylight almost always beat indoor low-light photos. Photos where your pet is looking at the camera work better than side profiles. If you are worried about a photo, email us before ordering and we will tell you honestly whether it will print well.

Can I put more than one pet on the magnet?

Yes, up to three pets per magnet. Upload separate photos of each pet, or one group photo if they are already together, and we combine them onto the background. Add all their names in the personalization box and they go on the sculpted plate at the bottom.

Will it stick to a stainless steel fridge?

Most modern stainless steel fridges have a magnetic outer skin and hold ours fine. Some higher-end brands (Sub-Zero, some LG models) have a non-magnetic stainless layer that magnets slide off. If ordinary supermarket magnets do not stick to your fridge, ours will not either. A metal filing cabinet, oven hood, dishwasher door, or a small magnetic board works just as well.

What if my photo has other people or things in it?

We isolate your pet from the background and drop them onto the illustrated scene. If the photo is unusable (blurry, dark, or your pet is too small in the frame) we will email you before printing and ask for a better one.

Are magnets safe for dogs?

On a fridge, yes. Swallowed, no. Keep magnets above nose height if you have a dog who counter-surfs, the same way you would with anything small and interesting. Two swallowed magnets can attract each other through the wall of the intestine and cause serious damage, so if you think your dog swallowed one, call your vet or an emergency clinic straight away.

How long does it take to ship?

Two business days to print, dome, and ship each magnet, then standard shipping on top. If you have concerns about a photo before ordering, email us and we will tell you honestly whether it will work as a magnet.

Do you make custom backgrounds not in this list?

Not yet. The current 8 backgrounds are the ones we offer. If there is a scene you keep looking for and cannot find (a farm, a specific park, a hiking scene) email us and we will add popular requests to the collection over time.
